Who we are
LAMPS is the trading name and acronym of Lighting and Mains Power Solutions Limited, an independent electrical wholesaler and proud member of AWEBB.
The business was formed in September 2005 and began trading in January 2007. LAMPS was founded by Jason Hoff and Chris Lugg, who had both previously worked for an established international wholesaler. LAMPS grew out of a desire to do things differently – combining strong supplier relationships with a more personal, service‑led approach.
Today, LAMPS operates as a modern electrical wholesaler with both physical branches and an online ordering platform, giving customers flexibility in how they work with us.
Branches
Our four branches span Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire:
- Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire – Head Office (opened January 2007)
- Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire – opened November 2011
- Bicester, Oxfordshire – opened February 2014
- Shepherds Bush, London – acquired from Group B
Each branch is staffed by people who know their local customers and projects, with the online store extending that same support to a wider audience.
